From a Year of Color & Form: I began my career with collage. I squeezed it in when my young kids napped. It was the first time in a long time that I remembered that I had ideas that were beyond “What’s for dinner” and “What does my child need?”. I’d tapped into “me” and couldn’t stop, so I made it an art project. A Year of Color and Form consists of making one piece of art a day for an entire year and culminated in my first show at Rare Device.
