While my gulps are all about deep breaths and expansion, sometimes I’m left feeling drained, near empty. Is there anything left to give?

About Gulps: When I finally got my kiln set up in Minnesota, I quickly found myself exploring forms that were filled with air and expressed the idea of expansion. For the first time in a long time, I had space and capacity to breathe deeply, to pause, to move freely. In some of the pieces, you can see the inclusion of fiber as a way to express new growth. My “Gulp” series is an expression of that and one that I look forward to continuing to explore.
